Howard
University Medical Alumni Association, Inc, (HUMAA) Honors the
Class of 1955 Fifty Years
 Dr
Chester Pryor, M.D., an ophthalmologist in practice in
Cincinnati since 1961, a CMA and NMA member, was among those honored.
The event took place on May 12, 2005 in Washington, D.C. Melba
G. W. Swafford, M.D., president of HUMAA and Floyd J. Malveaux,
M.D., Ph.D., dean of Howard University College of Medicine
congratulated the honorees for their achievements.

Carl Gilbert to be one of the reporters (physician-reporter) for
the upcoming July NMA Convention in NY. As a reporter, Dr.
Gilbert will cover the convention
by attending medical
sessions and writing summaries for the daily newsletter
so that physicians who weren't in those classes can read about
the topics they missed. Dr Gilbert is already a writer and
reviewer for the JNMA.
